Getting started
No. A chatbot replies; AWAN completes the work — it books the table, takes the order, sends the invoice — over a deterministic workflow engine, then hands off to your team when it should. The promise is finished work you can count, not just a faster reply.
You connect a WhatsApp number through Meta's official Cloud API, and we guide you through it. Telegram is the instant path you can use immediately while WhatsApp verification (a few days, on Meta's side) completes.
About a week with AWAN Studio's done-for-you setup: we build your workflows, load your menu/knowledge, and tune the agent's voice — you don't lift a finger. Self-serve is faster if you'd rather set it up yourself.
It escalates to a human in your shared inbox whenever it should, and platform safety guardrails are always on. It answers only from your real data — it never invents prices, menu items, or medical/clinical advice.

You see actions; the system meters the AI usage underneath. Each plan includes a monthly action allowance; you're nudged to upgrade before you run out — we never cut you off mid-conversation.
On Enterprise, yes — bring your own Anthropic key and choose your model. On other plans, AWAN runs the AI for you.
